Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Perceval Hollis took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 minutes, Delbert Ingram mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belmont and the Haïti FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Haïti FC booed when Belmont was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delbert Ingram didn't get a good kick on the ball. 4 minutes into the match, Haïti FC's goalkeeper Wawrzyniec Sidor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Delbert Ingram. When Belmont's Lewis Chatigny in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Haïti FC's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 12 minutes, Lewis Chatigny managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belmont's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lewis Chatigny was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Delbert Ingram notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Haïti FC's Wawrzyniec Sidor. Wawrzyniec Sidor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lewis Chatigny's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wawrzyniec Sidor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Milford Dobson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute Coy Marseau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlen Patry saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Lewis Chatigny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arlen Patry showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perceval Hollis in the 35th minute of the match. Coy Marseau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Arlen Patry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Truman Wheeler fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Belmont's protests and gave Truman Wheeler a yellow card for diving instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Coy Marseau in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arlen Patry prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Belmont booed when Haïti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milford Dobson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Charles Hess fired a really elegant long shot, but Wawrzyniec Sidor threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post.
The wind increased when Lewis Chatigny made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Belmont got a freekick which was hit by John-Edvin Hotvedt. Haïti FC's Cedric Hinojosa shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 62nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Arlen Patry but with some difficulty. Wawrzyniec Sidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delbert Ingram in the 65th minute of the match. Coy Marseau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlen Patry having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Belmont's Jeffrey Thompson got a free kick in the 69th minute. Haïti FC's Charles Lundy shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 70th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Arlen Patry but with some difficulty. Wayne Rooney charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wayne Rooney the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wayne Rooney hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Belmont's goalkeeper Arlen Patry, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Perceval Hollis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, Coy Marseau notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Belmont's Arlen Patry. Arlen Patry was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Charles Lundy fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Haïti FC's protests and gave Charles Lundy a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 82 minutes, Delbert Ingram managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belmont's supporters crossed their fingers, but Delbert Ingram was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 85 played minutes Belmont got a freekick which was hit by Antony Garceau. When Bruno Guernon fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Haïti FC's protests and gave Bruno Guernon a yellow card for diving instead. The audience was convinced that Delbert Ingram's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wawrzyniec Sidor was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. Belmont's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
