Sydney Harrison hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. If Rodrick Burris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mitch Ibarra got free with Micheal Manning in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 17 minutes, Mitch Ibarra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ioco and the fc catalunya players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 18 played minutes, fc catalunya's Lynn Burroughs shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aurelien Langelier came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in fc catalunya reached it. In the 22nd minute John Timmons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Micheal Manning saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ioco's Aurelien Langelier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avery Vincent in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Ioco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Timmons to maneuver through the defense. Colombe Rankin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aurelien Langelier. Ioco's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Aurelien Langelier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lynn Burroughs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julio Dugan during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Abel Marier took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurelien Langelier. Aurelien Langelier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Aurelien Langelier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodrick Burris went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

After a rather tough play, fc catalunya's Lynn Burroughs got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Micheal Manning took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emile McWilliams, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelien Langelier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avery Vincent in the 57th minute of play. John Timmons hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The long shot by Colombe Rankin in the 59th minute really tested Aurelien Langelier's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 67 minutes of play, Ioco's Julio Dugan made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Micheal Manning was left in no man's land by his defense there! fc catalunya's Micheal Manning played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mitch Ibarra in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avery Vincent in the 74th minute of play forced Ioco's goalkeeper Aurelien Langelier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Micheal Manning didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ioco's Emile McWilliams shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-2 in the ordered_time% minute. If Mitch Ibarra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
