Upsalquitch's Alejandro Hagen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Marier in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avery Vincent in the 27th minute of play forced Upsalquitch's goalkeeper Alejandro Hagen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, Rodrick Burris ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alejandro Hagen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Abel Marier hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Lynn Burroughs kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alejandro Hagen. That made the score 3-0 in the 36 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Avery Vincent's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alejandro Hagen was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Avery Vincent to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Upsalquitch's zone, Abel Marier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejandro Hagen came out of the goal and Abel Marier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abel Marier took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alejandro Hagen. Alejandro Hagen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. The supporters of fc catalunya booed when Upsalquitch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lionel Toth didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Avery Vincent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejandro Hagen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrick Burris in the 93rd minute of play. Alejandro Hagen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Avery Vincent in the 94th minute of the match.
