Amadjuak's Frédéric Desilets proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Amadjuak from getting a goal against them. When Vito Ricks came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Rockglen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vito Ricks couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bert Lowry during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 28 minutes, Hugues Willard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rockglen and the Amadjuak players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dominique Caron might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frédéric Desilets. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thanks to some nice moves Vito Ricks could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Frédéric Desilets however easily saved by the left post. Hugues Willard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Frédéric Desilets tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Dominique Caron fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rockglen's protests and gave Dominique Caron a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Amadjuak booed when Rockglen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominique Caron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vito Ricks who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Frédéric Desilets when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Amadjuak's zone, Vito Ricks stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frédéric Desilets came out of the goal and Vito Ricks tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vito Ricks to make the kick off. If Vito Ricks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Shad Boykin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jacques Vickers hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Hugues Willard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frédéric Desilets having to interfere. In the 63rdth minute of the game Vito Ricks who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amadjuak's Frédéric Desilets was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 66 minutes into the match, Rockglen's goalkeeper Shannon Abbott had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Riley Morales. Amadjuak's Frédéric Desilets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vito Ricks in the 68th minute of play. Vito Ricks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frédéric Desilets having to interfere. Frédéric Desilets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominique Caron in the 74th minute of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Vito Ricks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rockglen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vito Ricks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vito Ricks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Frédéric Desilets tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dominique Caron hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute of the match Booker Faust sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Shannon Abbott skillfully saved the ball. Riley Morales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shannon Abbott having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Rockglen players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
