Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcel Burrell started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute of the match Theodore Loiseau shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sheldon Gaines showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Burrell in the 12th minute of play forced Middleton's goalkeeper Valéry Guilmette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jesus McNeil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sheldon Gaines having to interfere. Jesus McNeil's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Sheldon Gaines skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Marcel Burrell took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valéry Guilmette. Valéry Guilmette dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Aimé Gousse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Theodore Loiseau fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Middleton's protests and gave Theodore Loiseau a yellow card for diving instead. Theodore Loiseau kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Travis Racicot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcel Burrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Valéry Guilmette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bradley Garner to make the kick off. When Marcel Burrell came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Tonkin AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcel Burrell couldn't finish the play. In the 53rd minute Bradley Garner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sheldon Gaines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Middleton booed when Tonkin AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fritz Hathaway didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tonkin AFC's Sheldon Gaines played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradley Garner in the 59th minute of play. After 59 minutes, Walter McClellan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tonkin AFC and the Middleton players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Middleton booed when Tonkin AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walter McClellan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Bradley Garner left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Middleton fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The supporters of Middleton booed when Tonkin AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erin Hagan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tonkin AFC's zone, Bradley Garner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sheldon Gaines came out of the goal and Bradley Garner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 71 played minutes Tonkin AFC got a freekick which was hit by Walter McClellan. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sylvester Hilton during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Middleton's Sylvester Hilton got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 77th minute, Erin Hagan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Middleton's Valéry Guilmette didn't even have to move. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Jesus McNeil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Middleton's supporters rose to their feet, but Jesus McNeil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sheldon Gaines breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 85th minute, Sylvester Hilton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Middleton fans' excitement grew in the 90th match minute when Middleton's Jesus McNeil looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
