After 3 played minutes Angry Smurfs got a freekick which was hit by Joan Jefferson. 4 minutes into the game, Joan Jefferson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Angry Smurfs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Varennes AFC the free kick. Loup Worthington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Léandre Norman, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 8 minutes into the game, Bruce Burch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Angry Smurfs's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Varennes AFC the free kick. In the 11th minute Léandre Norman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loup Worthington saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Loup Worthington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Léandre Norman in the 12th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Léandre Norman in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Loup Worthington prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Loup Worthington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico May, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Shad Ladner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emon McCracken, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Loup Worthington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico May, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Léandre Norman came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Varennes AFC fans jumped to their feet. Juan Delacruz was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 26 minutes into the match. 25 minutes into the game, one of Angry Smurfs:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Loup Worthington showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Léandre Norman, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. A collision led to Angry Smurfs getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Rafael Loiseau hit a great ball. In the 36thth minute of the game Léandre Norman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Angry Smurfs's Loup Worthington was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Varennes AFC booed when Angry Smurfs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emon McCracken didn't get a good kick on the ball. Federico May received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Loup Worthington tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 minutes, Léandre Norman made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Angry Smurfs's Loup Worthington tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bruce Burch was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Varennes AFC's Léandre Norman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Loup Worthington. Loup Worthington yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. A collision led to Angry Smurfs getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Laurent Lewis hit a great ball. Federico May fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loup Worthington having to interfere. Angry Smurfs's Loup Worthington played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico May in the 62nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Varennes AFC's zone, Basile Milligan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Shad Ladner came out of the goal and Basile Milligan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Léandre Norman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Loup Worthington made a huge save. In the 87th minute, Léandre Norman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Léandre Norman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Loup Worthington read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Angry Smurfs's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Léandre Norman scored to the left of an out of position Loup Worthington, making the score, 1-4.
