Hilton Tracy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lazare Loomis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Watson's Hilton Tracy threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alonzo Rowley, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hilton Tracy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Rowley in the 19th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lindsay Staples was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes, Bradly McGee mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matapedia and the Watson players grew even worse after the yellow card.
