Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cody Swartz kicked off to start the match. Lyman English took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lamar Tardif, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alonzo Rowley ran back to his position shaking his head. After 22 played minutes Pangnirtung got a freekick which was hit by Quinton Hale. Monroe Diaz scored 0-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jose Becker, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lyman English made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alonzo Rowley in the 31st minute. Lamar Tardif fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lyman English having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Watson's goal looked a bit too open when Monroe Diaz came free, but Jose Becker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Deangelo Briggs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cody Swartz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 45 minutes into the game, Marc Davignon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Watson's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pangnirtung the free kick. Marc Davignon hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The wind increased when Lamar Tardif made the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Deangelo Briggs had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle.
