Willard Priest was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Inter Toronto's Adam Lamontagne got a free kick in the 10th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Gerald Keys managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lashburn's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerald Keys was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Willard Priest breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Johnson Traylor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willard Priest having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Lashburn's Willard Priest threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gerald Keys, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Grégoire Acosta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Inter Toronto booed when Lashburn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnson Traylor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Willard Priest took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerald Keys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Gerald Keys kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Willard Priest. That made the score 2-0 in the 30 minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Lashburn's goal looked a bit too open when Théophile Oneal came free, but Bobbie Ludwig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugues Westbrook kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Grégoire Acosta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johnson Traylor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Willard Priest made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

56 minutes into the game, Gerald Keys cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Willard Priest was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 58 minutes into the match, Gerald Keys had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Willard Priest. Inter Toronto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gerald Keys was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. If Théophile Oneal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bobbie Ludwig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cordell Whitfield, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Hugues Westbrook was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lashburn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inter Toronto the free kick. In the 70th minute, Hugues Westbrook hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alonso Ochoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Lashburn's zone, Théophile Oneal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bobbie Ludwig came out of the goal and Théophile Oneal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Inter Toronto booed when Lashburn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugues Westbrook didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Lashburn's Grégoire Acosta got a free kick in the 87th minute. Grégoire Acosta might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Willard Priest. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Grégoire Acosta ran back to his position shaking his head. The Lashburn players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
