Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The crowd rose to their feet as MTL Impact's Leland Trejo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carson Chu. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Simon Hines in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tracy Bélanger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 9th minute, Simon Hines got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tracy Bélanger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denver Sinclair in the 14th minute of play. After some careless play in the MTL Impact defense, Simon Hines kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tracy Bélanger. The MTL Impact fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tracy Bélanger should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in MTL Impact's zone, Simon Hines stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tracy Bélanger came out of the goal and Simon Hines tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tracy Bélanger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denver Sinclair in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute Denver Sinclair shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tracy Bélanger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tracy Bélanger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denver Sinclair in the 30th minute of the match. Edgar FC's Carson Chu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Brandon in the 31st minute of play. Tracy Bélanger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denver Sinclair, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Denver Sinclair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tracy Bélanger having to interfere. After 44th play minutes Leland Trejo shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Carson Chu and just under the crossbar into goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Jourdain Cullen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Carson Chu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Spears, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MTL Impact's Tracy Bélanger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denver Sinclair in the 63rd minute of play. The supporters of Edgar FC booed when MTL Impact was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerold Goulet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denver Sinclair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tracy Bélanger having to interfere. Carson Chu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jourdain Cullen, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. With a little luck, MTL Impact's Tracy Bélanger got control of the ball when Simon Hines tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to MTL Impact getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Claude Cuillerier hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, MTL Impact's goal looked a bit too open when Denver Sinclair came free, but Tracy Bélanger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When MTL Impact's Leland Trejo in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Edgar FC's goalie prevented a goal. Leland Trejo scored 4-1 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carson Chu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tracy Bélanger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Hines, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After a defensive mix-up in MTL Impact's zone, Simon Hines stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tracy Bélanger came out of the goal and Simon Hines tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With 96 minutes on the clock, George Rogers commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 96th minute, one of MTL Impact:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for MTL Impact. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. MTL Impact had played much better football throughout.
