Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Morrisburg Lions's Shelton Wilhelm started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With 5 minutes on the clock, Donatien Filoche commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Quebec city FC's Donatien Filoche got a free kick in the 6th minute. Morrisburg Lions's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Jerrell Wooten scored to the left of an out of position Vincent Ladner, making the score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Morrisburg Lions's Avery McNeal got a free kick in the 10th minute. Herman Hall scored 2-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vincent Ladner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Morrisburg Lions's Vincent Ladner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herman Hall in the 18th minute of play. Herman Hall took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vincent Ladner. Vincent Ladner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 29th minute, Jerrell Wooten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Morrisburg Lions's Roger Barron got a free kick in the 31st minute. 35 minutes into the match, Morrisburg Lions's goalkeeper Vincent Ladner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerrell Wooten. 38 minutes had been played when some careless play by Morrisburg Lions's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Harvey Rivard was slow to take the kick. During this time Quebec city FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Jerrell Wooten almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Morrisburg Lions's Vincent Ladner did a great save. Morrisburg Lions's Vincent Ladner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harvey Rivard in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Croteau in the 41st minute of play forced Quebec city FC's goalkeeper Buford Lim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Herman Hall to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Morrisburg Lions's Nathaniel Rich slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Buford Lim. That made the score 3-2 after 52 minutes of play. Vincent Ladner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pat Grier in the 56th minute of the match. In the 59th minute, Herman Hall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vincent Ladner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herman Hall, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Harvey Rivard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vincent Ladner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herman Hall in the 67th minute of play. Quebec city FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Harvey Rivard in the 68th minute. The supporters of Morrisburg Lions booed when Quebec city FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herman Hall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pat Grier took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vincent Ladner. Vincent Ladner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Pat Grier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herman Hall in the 78th minute of play forced Morrisburg Lions's goalkeeper Vincent Ladner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quebec city FC's Buford Lim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Quebec city FC from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute, Shelton Wilhelm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Morrisburg Lions fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nathaniel Rich in the 86th minute of play forced Quebec city FC's goalkeeper Buford Lim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Herman Hall scored 5-3 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vincent Ladner, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jerrell Wooten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Buford Lim was a little too slow when Nathaniel Rich got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 5-4. Quebec city FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
