Zaquiel Doypa's late challenge caught a Arbolito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zaquiel Doypa helped the player get up and apologised. Zaquiel Doypa hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Elixio Herezuelo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Arbolito's Duarte Chavarre didn't even have to move. The audience was convinced that Mincho Junguito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duarte Chavarre was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. 38 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Arbolito's Ekaitz Montaña fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Dabi Mendibuey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Falavarte in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Seme Canellas fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Duarte Chavarre, passed just outside the right post. Valentines's Dabi Mendibuey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ekaitz Montaña in the 47th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ekaitz Montaña to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Arbolito's Gines Ugia got a free kick in the 54th minute. Mincho Junguito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Seme Canellas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gotzon Berrondo came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Valentines fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gotzon Berrondo couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Mincho Junguito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valentines's supporters rose to their feet, but Mincho Junguito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duarte Chavarre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ekaitz Montaña sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Izotz Elias hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Ramiro Falavarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Dabi Mendibuey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seme Canellas in the 89th minute of play forced Arbolito's goalkeeper Duarte Chavarre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valentines's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Ekaitz Montaña scored to the left of an out of position Dabi Mendibuey, making the score, 0-2.
