The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Platon's goalkeeper Emeterio Marroquin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Theodore Cotes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mitxaut Venegas in the 9th minute of play forced Lalo Landa F.C.'s goalkeeper Anaya Rosado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emeterio Marroquin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Palos Sanjurjo's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Palos Sanjurjo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Emeterio Marroquin, 1-0. Americo Villascuerna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emeterio Marroquin having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Americo Villascuerna recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emeterio Marroquin. Americo Villascuerna showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. When Palos Sanjurjo came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Lalo Landa F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Palos Sanjurjo couldn't finish the play. In the 28th match minute, Platon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurin Sabando to maneuver through the defense. If Theodore Cotes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Lalo Landa F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Mitxaut Venegas came free, but Anaya Rosado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Platon booed when Lalo Landa F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Courel didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Lalo Landa F.C.'s Emeterio Marroquin threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Americo Villascuerna, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ilixo Vadillo kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Lalo Landa F.C.'s Palos Sanjurjo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Palos Sanjurjo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lalo Landa F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Palos Sanjurjo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emeterio Marroquin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

53 minutes into the game, Lalo Landa F.C.'s Theodore Cotes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emeterio Marroquin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Anaya Rosado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mitxaut Venegas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute Platon were awarded a corner. Berto Afraga went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Berto Afraga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Anaya Rosado quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Joel Vivar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lalo Landa F.C.'s Anaya Rosado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Lalo Landa F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 67thth minute of the game Palos Sanjurjo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Platon's Emeterio Marroquin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emeterio Marroquin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Palos Sanjurjo's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Palos Sanjurjo in the 71st minute of play forced Platon's goalkeeper Emeterio Marroquin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laurin Sabando hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute Mitxaut Venegas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anaya Rosado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
