Isidro Cobredo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Nuxila Guilizasti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orain Gobantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Latorre booed when Abrojal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Checa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Evaristo Monelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abrojal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Evaristo Monelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidro Cobredo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isidro Cobredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuxila Guilizasti, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. When Nuxila Guilizasti came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Abrojal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuxila Guilizasti couldn't finish the play. Isidro Cobredo made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Evaristo Monelo sent off a good shot on target. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Abrojal FC's goalkeeper Gilabert Fresno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Orain Gobantes scored 2-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilabert Fresno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute, Evaristo Monelo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Edilberto Doria struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Gilabert Fresno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Latorre. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
