Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Palmitas's Gartzen Docio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Americo Rapela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gartzen Docio in the 3rd minute of play. 3 minutes into the match, Gartzen Docio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Americo Rapela. Joanico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gartzen Docio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When Onbera Casado fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palmitas's protests and gave Onbera Casado a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 played minutes Palmitas got a freekick which was hit by Onbera Casado. Patricio Agüeros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gian-Carlo Ahelle having to interfere. Gartzen Docio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Americo Rapela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gartzen Docio in the 15th minute of play forced Joanico's goalkeeper Americo Rapela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Gartzen Docio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palmitas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Xorxe Arozamena kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute of the match Dagoberto Barona shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gian-Carlo Ahelle showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When Palmitas's Gartzen Docio in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Joanico's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gartzen Docio in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Americo Rapela saved Joanico from getting behind. Gian-Carlo Ahelle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Patricio Agüeros in the 78th minute. Saturnin Morentin's late challenge caught a Joanico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saturnin Morentin helped the player get up and apologised. Saturnin Morentin hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, one of Joanico:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Joanico. Gartzen Docio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Americo Rapela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96thth minute of the game Gartzen Docio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Joanico's Americo Rapela was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There was no doubt that Palmitas were the better team. Palmitas's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
