Cordaryal Ebro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Cacho, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Lugo Villaverde who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Christovao Isern when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, C.A. 25 de Agosto's Pastor Mendiguren got a free kick in the 27th minute. Apolo Abeita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christovao Isern having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lugo Villaverde got free with Christovao Isern in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ongile Somoano kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. C.A. 25 de Agosto's Christovao Isern proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. 25 de Agosto from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. 25 de Agosto's zone, Esquipula Esquivias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christovao Isern came out of the goal and Esquipula Esquivias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With 41 minutes on the clock, Salamon Cubillas commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Suarez AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 40th minute. Penalty! Cordaryal Ebro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lertxun Ubidea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, Suarez AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Mendiguren came free, but Cordaryal Ebro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 51stth minute of the game Jon Villascuerna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. 25 de Agosto's Christovao Isern was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pastor Mendiguren's late challenge caught a Suarez AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pastor Mendiguren helped the player get up and apologised. In the 52nd match minute, C.A. 25 de Agosto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Mendiguren to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lertxun Ubidea got free with Cordaryal Ebro in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 76 minutes, Apolo Abeita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Suarez AFC and the C.A. 25 de Agosto players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pastor Mendiguren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cordaryal Ebro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play.
