Oliverios Palma came out of the goal and Vitor Zalon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 9 minutes into the match, Dagoberto Prus dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Oliverios Palma, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Goiz Rio got free with Oliverios Palma in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benjamin Danzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Larrave, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The SAS fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when SAS's Adolfo Larrave looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Adolfo Larrave received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Benjamin Danzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michael Miravalles was slow to take the kick. During this time SAS's players had a chance to rest. With an all-out effort, Egana AFC's Oliverios Palma threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dagoberto Prus, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.
