Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Manfredo Macedo kicked off to start the match. Anísio Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iuri Teixeira having to interfere. In the 11th match minute, Itutinga EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robinho Sabóia to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anísio Messias in the 12th minute of play forced Itutinga EC's goalkeeper Iuri Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Itutinga EC's Robinho Sabóia got a free kick in the 12th minute. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Régis Carneiro sped through Itutinga EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Iuri Teixeira. 18 minutes into the match, Arrozal FC's goalkeeper Flavinho do Nascimento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kaká Maciel. Iuri Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto Dante in the 19th minute of the match. Kaká Maciel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Flavinho do Nascimento firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Régis Carneiro in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iuri Teixeira saved Itutinga EC from getting behind. Kaká Maciel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Flavinho do Nascimento made a huge save. Flavinho do Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perivaldo Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Itutinga EC's Iuri Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anísio Messias in the 31st minute of play. Iuri Teixeira came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Arrozal FC's Régis Carneiro. But to his dismay, Régis Carneiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 36th match minute, Itutinga EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murillo Simões to maneuver through the defense. Arrozal FC's Tibor Kriššák couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 37th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Itutinga EC. 38 minutes into the match, Arrozal FC's Anísio Messias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iuri Teixeira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Itutinga EC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Cristiano Madureira hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Itutinga EC's zone, Régis Carneiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iuri Teixeira came out of the goal and Régis Carneiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Régis Carneiro to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Anísio Messias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arrozal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anísio Messias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 55 minutes, Régis Carneiro made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Itutinga EC's Iuri Teixeira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Iuri Teixeira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Régis Carneiro's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. The supporters of Itutinga EC booed when Arrozal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elano Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavinho do Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaká Maciel in the 63rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manfredo Macedo in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavinho do Nascimento saved Arrozal FC from getting behind. If Anísio Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 69 in the game by Régis Carneiro from a close distance when the talented Iuri Teixeira managed to make a qualified save. Itutinga EC's players were relieved. 78 minutes into the game, Adalberto Dante was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arrozal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itutinga EC the free kick. A collision led to Arrozal FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Adalberto Dante hit a great ball. Anísio Messias might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Iuri Teixeira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anísio Messias ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Arrozal FC's zone, Manfredo Macedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Flavinho do Nascimento came out of the goal and Manfredo Macedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arrozal FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
