Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Régis Carneiro started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute of the match Hamílton Azevedo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flavinho do Nascimento showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 6 minutes into the game, Douglas Gerber cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Flavinho do Nascimento was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Régis Carneiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Armandinho Correia made a huge save. 14 minutes into the match, Arrozal FC's Anísio Messias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armandinho Correia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Eme SS's Patrick Leal got a free kick in the 14th minute. Anísio Messias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arí Lago in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavinho do Nascimento saved Arrozal FC from getting behind. In the 31st minute Júlio Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavinho do Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Durvalino Vale notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Arrozal FC's Flavinho do Nascimento. Flavinho do Nascimento was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Flavinho do Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arí Lago, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Flavinho do Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arí Lago in the 42nd minute of play. After 45 minutes, Dida Diniz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eme SS and the Arrozal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th minute, Dida Diniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Eme SS were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Durvalino Vale made a kick off. Flavinho do Nascimento didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arí Lago went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 56 minutes into the match, Douglas Gerber dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Flavinho do Nascimento, 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Durvalino Vale in the 59th minute of play forced Arrozal FC's goalkeeper Flavinho do Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavinho do Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Durvalino Vale in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Arrozal FC's goalkeeper Flavinho do Nascimento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arí Lago. Flavinho do Nascimento was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Durvalino Vale showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 64 minute of play. Armandinho Correia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Régis Carneiro's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. After having played for 74 minutes, Régis Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arrozal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Régis Carneiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anísio Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armandinho Correia having to interfere. Régis Carneiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armandinho Correia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Armandinho Correia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Régis Carneiro went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. Armandinho Correia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Régis Carneiro's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. After some careless play in the Arrozal FC defense, Júlio Munhoz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavinho do Nascimento. The Arrozal FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavinho do Nascimento should have stopped the shot. 92 minutes into the game, Arí Lago recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Flavinho do Nascimento. Arí Lago showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-8. Eme SS's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
