After having played for 5 minutes, Anselmo Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ubirata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anselmo Silveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Agnaldo Moreno took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roberto Quirino. Roberto Quirino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Germano Tepedino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulão Macedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Silveira in the 23rd minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Ubirata's Germano Tepedino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Ubirata from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luisinho Tinoco during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luisinho Tinoco kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Paulão Macedo struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Germano Tepedino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ipixuna. Dinei Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germano Tepedino having to interfere. Agnaldo Moreno hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 67th match minute, Ipixuna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Lira to maneuver through the defense. 1-1 became the score in the 73rd minute when Dinei Martins elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Ipixuna getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. David Dracena hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Agnaldo Moreno left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ubirata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Anselmo Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Roberto Quirino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ubirata's Germano Tepedino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Ubirata from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Agnaldo Moreno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ubirata's supporters rose to their feet, but Agnaldo Moreno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roberto Quirino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Anselmo Silveira put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Roberto Quirino. When the referee ended the match the Ubirata players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
