Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Gazea EC's zone, Carlinhos Magalhães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adelino Saraiva came out of the goal and Carlinhos Magalhães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guloso AD's Davi de Andrade got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Davi de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guloso AD's goalkeeper Virgílio Cearense, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Guloso AD's Cícero Sarmento got a free kick in the 14th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Norberto Moreira during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Gazea EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Veloso to maneuver through the defense. Olavo Quirino struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Adelino Saraiva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guloso AD. Guloso AD's Davi de Andrade got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rdth minute of the game Carlinhos Magalhães who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gazea EC's Adelino Saraiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Virgílio Cearense made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Gerson de Carvalho sent off a good shot on target. 30 minutes into the match, Gazea EC's goal looked a bit too open when Carlinhos Magalhães came free, but Adelino Saraiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Carlinhos Magalhães sped through Gazea EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adelino Saraiva. Virgílio Cearense acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 35th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ismael da Silveira. Carlinhos Magalhães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hudson Reis took the ball and in the 49 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adelino Saraiva. Adelino Saraiva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Wágner Carneiro made the kick off in the second half. Carlinhos Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Adelino Saraiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Davi de Andrade fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Adelino Saraiva, passed just outside the right post. Virgílio Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wágner Carneiro in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to Guloso AD getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Adelino Saraiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guloso AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gazea EC the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wágner Carneiro in the 96th minute of play forced Guloso AD's goalkeeper Virgílio Cearense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerson de Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Guloso AD getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Jailson Mattos hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Guloso AD left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gazea EC.
