The Minecraft Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilvan Schmidt should have stopped the shot. After 8 played minutes Minecraft Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Jerônimo Vale. In the 9th minute, Davi de Andrade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 10th minute Carlinhos Magalhães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilvan Schmidt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Davi de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Minecraft Futebol Clube's Luiz Gustavo Pinheiro got a free kick in the 14th minute. Hudson Reis was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Mário Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee showed Carlos Alberto do Nascimento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 34 played minutes Guloso AD got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Alberto do Nascimento. After 35 played minutes, Minecraft Futebol Clube's Luiz Gustavo Pinheiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Virgílio Cearense came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Minecraft Futebol Clube reached it. Gilvan Schmidt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlinhos Magalhães in the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Olavo Quirino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlinhos Magalhães in the 41st minute of play forced Minecraft Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Gilvan Schmidt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Minecraft Futebol Clube's Gilvan Schmidt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Minecraft Futebol Clube from getting a goal against them. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lenílson Abreu was the one to do the kick off. Minecraft Futebol Clube's Gilvan Schmidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlinhos Magalhães in the 56th minute of play. Virgílio Cearense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mário Rosa in the 60th minute. 63 minutes into the match, Minecraft Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Carlinhos Magalhães came free, but Gilvan Schmidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilvan Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guloso AD's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
