With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerson de Carvalho in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilvan Schmidt saved Minecraft Futebol Clube from getting behind. Gerson de Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Wágner Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Minecraft Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Gilvan Schmidt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerson de Carvalho got free with Gilvan Schmidt in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adelino Saraiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mário Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Gerson de Carvalho's late challenge caught a Minecraft Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerson de Carvalho helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Gazea EC's Gerson de Carvalho got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the match was over Gazea EC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Minecraft Futebol Clube throughout the match.
