The audience was convinced that Rafael Breckenfeld's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oséas Costa was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. In the 33rd minute of the match, Zé Roberto Amaral tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Oséas Costa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rafael Breckenfeld could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Oséas Costa made a huge save. Vermelho EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rafael Breckenfeld was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Atlético Araçatuba's Zé Roberto Amaral got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Breckenfeld in the 95th minute of play forced Vermelho EC's goalkeeper Oséas Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Atlético Araçatuba players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
