After 22 played minutes Old Golden Boys FC got a freekick which was hit by Giuseppe Penha. Duda Paranaense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio Mesquita, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 24 minutes Old Golden Boys FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jairo Mendes who took care of the corner kick. In the 25th minute Jairo Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duda Paranaense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Old Golden Boys FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rui Lira to maneuver through the defense. When Virgílio Prestes fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Old Golden Boys FC's protests and gave Virgílio Prestes a yellow card for diving instead. Virgílio Prestes kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Old Golden Boys FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Mendes came free, but Duda Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Virgílio Prestes made a kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Old Golden Boys FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Mesquita came free, but Duda Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Duda Paranaense successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jairo Mendes took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Duda Paranaense. Duda Paranaense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Escura's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
