Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Evaristo Catarinense got the match started through his kick off. Fiori de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natã da Costa having to interfere. Natã da Costa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maurício da Cunha's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. After a rather tough play, Botafogo F. R.'s Adalberto Furlan got a free kick in the 6th minute. In the 8th minute, Ediberto Damião hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute of the match Fábio Paulista shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Natã da Costa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Fiori de Souza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fiori de Souza scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Natã da Costa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Fiori de Souza came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Argoim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fiori de Souza couldn't finish the play. In the 17th minute Maurício da Cunha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natã da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurício da Cunha in the 18th minute of play forced Botafogo F. R.'s goalkeeper Natã da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natã da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fiori de Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Evaristo Catarinense dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Evaristo Catarinense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fiori de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Natã da Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st match minute, Botafogo F. R. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredão Paiva to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the match, Roberto de Sousa notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Argoim's Ulisses Hermes. Ulisses Hermes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fiori de Souza to strike the kick off in the second half. Maurício da Cunha who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Natã da Costa when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
