If Magno Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Argoim getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Vítor de Amorim hit a great ball. Ulisses Hermes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Magno Linhares in the 34th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Vito Simão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palestrinos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vito Simão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ulisses Hermes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edvaldo Moreno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fiori de Souza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Maurício da Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 邵树冰 having to interfere. 1-0 became the score in the 57th minute when Fiori de Souza elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Magno Linhares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Faustão Cardozo kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Fiori de Souza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 邵树冰 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. 邵树冰 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manoel Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th match minute, Palestrinos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magno Linhares to maneuver through the defense. After 81 played minutes Argoim got a freekick which was hit by Manoel Paes. Ulisses Hermes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Magno Linhares in the 84th minute. Maurício da Cunha struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. 邵树冰 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Argoim. If Vito Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Argoim's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
