Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Carlinhos Bertassi got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Aristeu booed when Tambe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesinha Massa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elói Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Belmiro Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manoel Valle in the 19th minute of play. Aristeu were furious when Yuri Mineiro was red carded, 26 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 27th minute, Yuri Mineiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Luizinho Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 30 minutes into the game, Cesinha Massa cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Belmiro Pontes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aristeu's Belmiro Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertinho Arantes in the 35th minute of play. Tambe's Elói Loureiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Tambe from getting a goal against them. Elói Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Urbano in the 39th minute of the match. When Carlinhos Bertassi came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Aristeu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlinhos Bertassi couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Tambe's zone, Carlinhos Bertassi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elói Loureiro came out of the goal and Carlinhos Bertassi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 48th minute by Carlos Fernando Aguiar got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Albertinho Arantes made a kick off. Carlinhos Bertassi kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Tambe's Luizinho Souto broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 54 played minutes Aristeu got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Vianna. In the 55th minute, Luizinho Souto fired a really elegant long shot, but Belmiro Pontes threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Jaime Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 69 played minutes Tambe got a freekick which was hit by Luizinho Souto. Romário Rezende's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elói Loureiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. A very good chance. Jaime Ferraz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elói Loureiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Nilton Faustino hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the match, Carlos Fernando Aguiar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elói Loureiro. Tambe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Fernando Aguiar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1.
