Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Marimbas's Enrique da Rocha started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Maguari AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raúl Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. When Enrique da Rocha came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Marimbas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique da Rocha couldn't finish the play. After 5 played minutes Maguari AD got a freekick which was hit by Marcelinho Moraes. Maguari AD's Waldemar Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique da Rocha in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Geovani Galvão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Cido Quadros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maguari AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Cido Quadros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filipe Romero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 32 minutes, Geovani Galvão mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maguari AD and the Marimbas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd minute, Geovani Galvão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute Enrique da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Luz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enrique da Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldemar Luz having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Enrique da Rocha made a precise shot to the right of Waldemar Luz. Maguari AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. If Cido Quadros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valério Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Artur Antunes to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Cido Quadros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filipe Romero was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Maguari AD's Valério Lopes got his second yellow card of the match in the 59th minute. The referee ordered Valério Lopes off the ground. After a rather tough play, Maguari AD's Valério Lopes got a free kick in the 60th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Marimbas's goal looked a bit too open when Cido Quadros came free, but Filipe Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waldemar Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique da Rocha in the 71st minute of play. A collision led to Maguari AD getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Geovani Galvão hit a great ball. Enrique da Rochas short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Waldemar Luz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Enrique da Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Waldemar Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cido Quadros charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cido Quadros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 85th match minute, Maguari AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cido Quadros to maneuver through the defense. Geovani Bastos kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Marimbas's zone, Cido Quadros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filipe Romero came out of the goal and Cido Quadros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geovani Galvão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
