Denílson Lucas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 24th minute, Mateus Ortiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Eduardo Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateus Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Denílson Lucas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Breno Mangueira kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Rafael Melo made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Mateus Ortiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Denílson Lucas had in the 83rdth minute some difficulties stopping Agostinho Rossi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Eduardo Peixoto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Denílson Lucas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the game, MEDELLIN RECORDS's Mateus Ortiz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Denílson Lucas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Denílson Lucas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mateus Ortiz went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. MEDELLIN RECORDS's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
