Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Renatinho da Rocha made the kick off which started today's match. In the 5th minute of the match Gernando Lago sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Franklin Maranhense skillfully saved the ball. Submarino Amarelo's Lourenço Antunes got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patrício Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. José Pedro Quirino kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Submarino Amarelo's Lourenço Antunes got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Nogueira in the 30th minute of play forced Submarino Amarelo's goalkeeper Franklin Maranhense to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Astro MZ's Cláudio Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lourenço Antunes in the 35th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Astro MZ's zone, Lourenço Antunes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cláudio Tinoco came out of the goal and Lourenço Antunes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Walmir Guimarães kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Lourenço Antunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lourenço Antunes was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Astro MZ defense, Lourenço Antunes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cláudio Tinoco. The Astro MZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cláudio Tinoco should have stopped the shot. In the 75th minute, Joaquim Pinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th match minute, Astro MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Pinho to maneuver through the defense. Afonsinho Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cláudio Tinoco came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Submarino Amarelo's Lourenço Antunes. But to his dismay, Lourenço Antunes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 93rd minute, Lourenço Antunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Lourenço Antunes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Submarino Amarelo's supporters rose to their feet, but Lourenço Antunes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cláudio Tinoco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
