Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Renatinho da Rocha made the kick off and thus started the match. Cláudio Tinoco came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Ipupiara FC's Raimundo de Amaral. But to his dismay, Raimundo de Amaral quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 8th minute, Raimundo de Amaral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11thth minute of the game João Francisco Arce who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Astro MZ's Cláudio Tinoco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cláudio Tinoco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo de Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If João Francisco Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walmir Guimarães charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walmir Guimarães the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 16 played minutes Astro MZ got a freekick which was hit by Walmir Guimarães. Cláudio Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo de Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Augusto Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Astro MZ's Cláudio Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo de Amaral in the 21st minute of play. If João Francisco Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Raimundo de Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Cláudio Tinoco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Francisco Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cláudio Tinoco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo de Amaral in the 37th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the game, Jarbas Arósio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Astro MZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ipupiara FC the free kick. After 37 played minutes Astro MZ got a freekick which was hit by Jarbas Arósio. João Francisco Arce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ipupiara FC's Renan das Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renatinho da Rocha in the 52nd minute of play. In the 56th minute, Raimundo de Amaral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Astro MZ's Josué Xavier got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 73 played minutes Ipupiara FC got a freekick which was hit by William Leite. After recieving a nice pass, Astro MZ's Gernando Lago tried to score from far away in the 74th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, Astro MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo de Amaral came free, but Cláudio Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Josué Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cláudio Tinoco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Francisco Arce went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Francisco Arce got free with Cláudio Tinoco in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ipupiara FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
