Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Vladimir Maia made the kick off which started today's match. In the 4th minute, Vladimir Maia made a precise shot to the right of Dida Mazza. Taquarana SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Armandinho Valadares kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Taquarana SC's Zé Carlos Linhares dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. In the 16thth minute of the game Romeu Toscano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Prainha SS's Emerson Batista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Romeu Toscano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emerson Batista. That made the score 2-1 in the 18 minute of play. Dida Mazza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimir Maia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Prainha SS booed when Taquarana SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egídio Tande didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dida Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vladimir Maia in the 28th minute of the match. 29 minutes into the match, Prainha SS's José Carlos Rocha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dida Mazza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After recieving a nice pass, Prainha SS's Isaltino Moura tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Romeu Toscano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romeu Toscano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Emerson Batista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armandinho Valadares kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Taquarana SC's Tarcisio Motta tried to score from far away in the 44th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Emerson Batista made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Nuno Palmeira sent off a good shot on target. Romeu Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emerson Batista having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romeu Toscano made a kick off. Nuno Palmeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Taquarana SC's Romeu Toscano in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Prainha SS's goalie prevented a goal. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Nuno Palmeira sped through Prainha SS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Emerson Batista. In the 64th minute, Romeu Toscano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nuno Palmeira struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Emerson Batista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taquarana SC. If Nuno Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 77 minutes into the game, Evaristo Urbano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Prainha SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taquarana SC the free kick. In the 77th match minute, Prainha SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Urbano to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Taquarana SC's Tarcisio Motta tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Nuno Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, Taquarana SC's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimir Maia came free, but Dida Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Carlos Linhares hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Dida Mazza made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Carlos Rocha in the 90th minute. After a rather tough play, Prainha SS's Evaristo Urbano got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the referee ended the match the Taquarana SC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
