Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rodrigo Neiva got the match started through his kick off. Digo Antunes hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Ramiro Matos struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Luís Fabiano Bueno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cruzamento. 10 minutes in the game, Ramiro Matos fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Luís Fabiano Bueno having to interfere. Nando Cavalcante was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 12 minutes into the match. After 12 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Iguita! The goalkeeper, Luís Fabiano Bueno, was totally fooled by Cruzamento's Leonardo Peixoto, who 14 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Luís Fabiano Bueno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Paulo Loureiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antônio Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Ferraz in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Ian Passos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, Cruzamento's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Ferraz came free, but Antônio Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luís Fabiano Bueno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Loureiro in the 46th minute. In the 48th minute, Ramiro Matos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cruzamento fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramiro Matos was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Matos in the 54th minute of play forced Iguita's goalkeeper Luís Fabiano Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Allan Ferraz came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Iguita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Allan Ferraz couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute José Carlos Arósio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fabiano Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luís Fabiano Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Loureiro in the 65th minute of the match. When Cruzamento's Paulo Loureiro in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Iguita's goalie prevented a goal. Allan Ferraz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antônio Ramalho having to make a save. A collision led to Cruzamento getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ian Passos hit a great ball. If Válter Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 79 minutes into the game, Allan Ferraz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Antônio Ramalho was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Allan Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 minutes, Ian Passos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cruzamento and the Iguita players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 86 minutes of play Cruzamento's Ian Passos was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Ian Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Iguita's Allan Ferraz got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Allan Ferraz got free with Antônio Ramalho in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Antônio Ramalho made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Allan Ferraz sent off a good shot on target. For all the effort they put into the match, the Iguita players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cruzamento.
