Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charles Meira to make the kick off. Camburi's Denílson Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Meira in the 56th minute of play. Custódio Tasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Betinho Hermes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diogo Dante kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ladario's Charles Meira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Denílson Senna. That made the score 1-1 after 92 minutes of play.
