Acácio Motta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 11 in the game by Thomás do Nascimento from a close distance when the talented Luís Guilherme Zonta managed to make a qualified save. Manicoba's players were relieved. Acácio Motta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Luís Guilherme Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Guilherme Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Acácio Motta, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Acácio Motta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Guilherme Zonta having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Manicoba's goal looked a bit too open when Acácio Motta came free, but Luís Guilherme Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Thomás do Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Guilherme Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Acácio Motta, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Thomás do Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Acácio Motta made a kick off. After some careless play in the Manicoba defense, Thomás do Nascimento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Guilherme Zonta. The Manicoba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Guilherme Zonta should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joélson Ferreira during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Joélson Ferreira kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute of the match Sílvio Luiz Gonçalves sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luís Guilherme Zonta skillfully saved the ball. Acácio Motta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Luís Guilherme Zonta came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Caxinga's Thomás do Nascimento. But to his dismay, Thomás do Nascimento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Manicoba's goalkeeper Luís Guilherme Zonta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thomás do Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. During the 83rd minute of the match Joélson Ferreira completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Joélson Ferreira a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 84 played minutes Manicoba got a freekick which was hit by Joélson Ferreira. 85 minutes into the match, Caxinga's Sílvio Luiz Gonçalves broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Luís Guilherme Zonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Pedro Abreu in the 87th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Alfredo Jacinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Guilherme Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Acácio Motta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute José Pedro Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Guilherme Zonta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the game, Joaquim Severo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manicoba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caxinga the free kick. After 95 played minutes Manicoba got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Severo. Caxinga's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
