Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 9 minutes into the match, Sebastião de Sena notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Baba Futebol Clube's Luisão Soares. Luisão Soares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Fabinho Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 19 minutes, Sebastião de Sena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manicoba and the Baba Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sebastião de Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes, Baba Futebol Clube's Gláuber Paranaense shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luís Guilherme Zonta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Baba Futebol Clube reached it. If Fabinho Bueno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabinho Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Guilherme Zonta having to interfere. Sebastião de Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Fabinho Bueno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Guilherme Zonta was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Luisão Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastião de Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 51st minute, José Maria Ferreira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Baba Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabinho Bueno in the 55th minute of play forced Manicoba's goalkeeper Luís Guilherme Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Sebastião de Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manicoba's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastião de Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisão Soares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Válbson Meira charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Válbson Meira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabinho Bueno in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Guilherme Zonta saved Manicoba from getting behind. 85 minutes into the game, Renato Varela cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Luís Guilherme Zonta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. During the 88th minute of the match Sebastião de Sena completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sebastião de Sena a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Baba Futebol Clube booed when Manicoba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastião de Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Guilherme Zonta came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Baba Futebol Clube's Renato Varela. But to his dismay, Renato Varela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Baba Futebol Clube fans cheered their team off the field, for while Manicoba had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
