Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Carmesia AD's Cláudio Amorim started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Marumbe AD's Tony Mendonça got a free kick in the 4th minute. Ivo Travassos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 5th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Kléberson Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute Kléberson Velloso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Luiz Travassos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gil Peixoto during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Marumbe AD getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Tony Mendonça hit a great ball. In the 14th minute of the match Ivo Travassos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedro Luiz Travassos skillfully saved the ball. If Kléberson Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Marumbe AD getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Tony Mendonça hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Marumbe AD's goal looked a bit too open when Kléberson Velloso came free, but Pedro Luiz Travassos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zé Pedro Vides kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Pedro Luiz Travassos came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Carmesia AD's Cláudio Amorim. But to his dismay, Cláudio Amorim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Noel Quintal's late challenge caught a Carmesia AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Noel Quintal helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Marumbe AD's Noel Quintal got a free kick in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the game, Zé Pedro Vides recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Claudinho Amorim. Zé Pedro Vides showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After 45 played minutes Marumbe AD got a freekick which was hit by Anselmo Salles.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Pedro Vides to make the kick off. Pedro Luiz Travassos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cláudio Amorim in the 53rd minute of the match. Cláudio Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Luiz Travassos having to interfere. Marumbe AD's Pedro Luiz Travassos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio Amorim in the 57th minute of play. Noel Quintal was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 59th minute, Noel Quintal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 65 in the game by Kléberson Velloso from a close distance when the talented Pedro Luiz Travassos managed to make a qualified save. Marumbe AD's players were relieved. Cláudio Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cláudio Amorim in the 71st minute of play forced Marumbe AD's goalkeeper Pedro Luiz Travassos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Luiz Travassos made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Kléberson Velloso sent off a good shot on target. If Adrianinho Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Claudinho Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Pedro Vides in the 85th minute of the match. If Kléberson Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Marumbe AD's Tony Mendonça got a free kick in the 87th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Marumbe AD's Adrianinho Sena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudinho Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Marumbe AD's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
