In the 2nd minute Tomé Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonel Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cocamora SS's Leonel Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomé Castro in the 4th minute of play. Tomé Castro scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonel Quadros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Agnaldo Lara hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. If Nicolas Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Luan Negri fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cocamora SS's protests and gave Luan Negri a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cocamora SS getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Luan Negri hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Ricardinho Berger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Cirilo's Miguel Dantas got control of the ball when Gernando Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. Agenor Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Gernando Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gernando Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Miguel Dantas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cocamora SS. After 23 minutes of play Cocamora SS's Luan Negri was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 24th match minute, Cocamora SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luan Negri to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Cocamora SS's Agnaldo Lara got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Cocamora SS's zone, Tomé Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonel Quadros came out of the goal and Tomé Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Cirilo's Nicolas Alcântara fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Nicolas Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Leonel Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomé Castro to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomé Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Leonel Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gernando Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rômulo Valladares kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cirilo's zone, Gernando Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miguel Dantas came out of the goal and Gernando Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miguel Dantas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gernando Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. If Gernando Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardinho Berger kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Nicolas Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Leonel Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Agenor Medeiros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cirilo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cocamora SS the free kick. Agenor Medeiros hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After having played for 87 minutes, Gernando Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cocamora SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gernando Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gernando Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, Cirilo's goal looked a bit too open when Gernando Fonseca came free, but Miguel Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cocamora SS were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
