Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Palmelo FC's Diguinho Abreu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hermínio Baiano in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tales Martins saved Palmelo FC from getting behind. Waldemar Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diguinho Abreu in the 5th minute of the match. When Nakapa CR's Arí Arruda in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Palmelo FC's goalie prevented a goal. 10 minutes into the game, Palmelo FC's Diguinho Abreu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Waldemar Luz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 18th minute, Luciano Peres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Arí Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ediberto de Senna struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Waldemar Luz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmelo FC. Raúl de Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tales Martins having to interfere. If Arí Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Raúl de Medeiros came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Nakapa CR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raúl de Medeiros couldn't finish the play. Diguinho Abreu took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Waldemar Luz. Waldemar Luz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Nakapa CR's Waldemar Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Régis Viana in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arí Arruda to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Palmelo FC booed when Nakapa CR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Peres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waldemar Luz made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Romário Cruz sent off a good shot on target. In the 57th minute, Arí Arruda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nakapa CR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 60th minute, Romário Cruz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waldemar Luz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raúl de Medeiros in the 65th minute of play forced Palmelo FC's goalkeeper Tales Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66th minute, Régis Viana made a precise shot to the right of Waldemar Luz. Nakapa CR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Tales Martins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermínio Baiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute Diguinho Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Luz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ediberto de Senna helped the player get up and apologised. Franklin Paes charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Franklin Paes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Franklin Paes kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Palmelo FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
