Álvaro Meireles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tinko Hadzhihristov, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 20 played minutes Guarau EC got a freekick which was hit by Vladimir Teixeira. If Iwan Fudalej had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fellipe Berger was extremely unlucky when he, in the 25th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Isaltino Silva was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Osvaldinho Ceresso capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Osvaldinho Ceresso really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After 32 played minutes LethalHawks FC got a freekick which was hit by Adorján Sass. LethalHawks FC's Tinko Hadzhihristov got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Iwan Fudalej had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vladimir Teixeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Isaltino Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 44 minutes, Tinko Hadzhihristov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LethalHawks FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tinko Hadzhihristov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute of the match Rafa Oliveira shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Álvaro Meireles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernão Leal during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 54 minutes into the match, LethalHawks FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernão de Brito came free, but Isaltino Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osvaldinho Ceresso hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Tinko Hadzhihristov's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Álvaro Meireles skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Iwan Fudalej fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Álvaro Meireles having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as LethalHawks FC's Tinko Hadzhihristov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Álvaro Meireles. That made the score 2-1 after 60 minutes of play. In the 63rd minute, Aluísio Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fred Lima hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 69thth minute of the game Tinko Hadzhihristov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guarau EC's Álvaro Meireles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tinko Hadzhihristov in the 73rd minute of play forced Guarau EC's goalkeeper Álvaro Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Vladimir Teixeira was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 73 minutes had been played. In the 74th minute, Vladimir Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fellipe Berger charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fellipe Berger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of LethalHawks FC booed when Guarau EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fellipe Berger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Álvaro Meireles, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
