Yuri Paraíba charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yuri Paraíba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Yuri Paraíba hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Juarês da Rocha's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 7thth minute, Germano da Costa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, Caracanga SC's Yuri Paraíba got a free kick in the 7th minute. Yuri Paraíba took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Júlio Alagoano. Júlio Alagoano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Júlio Alagoano came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Caracanga SC's Jerônimo Pirani. But to his dismay, Jerônimo Pirani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseu Pirani in the 19th minute of play forced Saecinza's goalkeeper Júlio Alagoano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juarês da Rocha who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Germano da Costa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 40 minutes into the game, Ricardinho Pombal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Germano da Costa. Ricardinho Pombal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Sandro Secco charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sandro Secco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Saecinza's Sandro Secco got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Júlio Alagoano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Cabral in the 44th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juarês da Rocha was the one to do the kick off. Germano da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardinho Pombal in the 51st minute of play. Júlio Alagoano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerônimo Pirani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yuri Paraíba got free with Júlio Alagoano in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Júlio Alagoano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseu Pirani, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerônimo Pirani in the 67th minute of play forced Saecinza's goalkeeper Júlio Alagoano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 minutes, Ricardinho Pombal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saecinza and the Caracanga SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juarês da Rocha in the 79th minute of play forced Caracanga SC's goalkeeper Germano da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juarês da Rocha in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Germano da Costa saved Caracanga SC from getting behind. 85 minutes into the match, Saecinza's goal looked a bit too open when Yuri Paraíba came free, but Júlio Alagoano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yuri Paraíba kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Germano da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardinho Pombal in the 89th minute of play. Júlio Alagoano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yuri Paraíba in the 91st minute of play. Júlio Alagoano was a little too slow when Eliseu Pirani got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 2-3.
