Betão Penha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Luzitana AD's Jeremias Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliézer de Medeiros in the 26th minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mathias Chaves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mathias Chaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betão Penha having to interfere. Luzitana AD's Dedé Mendes got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliézer de Medeiros in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremias Luz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet as Mathias Chaves kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Betão Penha. That made the score 0-4 in the 80 minute of play. When Wilson Vianna came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Luzitana AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilson Vianna couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Chaves in the 88th minute of play forced sales oliveira fc's goalkeeper Betão Penha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Vianna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betão Penha having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mathias Chaves in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Betão Penha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match was over Luzitana AD could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than sales oliveira fc throughout the match.
