Jeremias Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matías Ortiz in the 6th minute of the match. Renan Pena kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. The supporters of jujulinda booed when Luzitana AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wellington da Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renan Pena's late challenge caught a jujulinda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Renan Pena helped the player get up and apologised. Renan Pena hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Wilson Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Benê Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. jujulinda's Benê Araújo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Chaves in the 24th minute of play. Mathias Chaves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilson Vianna might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benê Araújo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilson Vianna ran back to his position shaking his head. 33 minutes into the game, Luzitana AD's Mathias Chaves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benê Araújo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mathias Chaves in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benê Araújo saved jujulinda from getting behind. Wilson Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Benê Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mathias Chaves might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benê Araújo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mathias Chaves ran back to his position shaking his head. Murilo Velloso charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Murilo Velloso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Luzitana AD booed when jujulinda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murilo Velloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41stth minute of the game Wilson Vianna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but jujulinda's Benê Araújo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benê Araújo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Chaves in the 45th minute of the match. The supporters of Luzitana AD booed when jujulinda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murilo Velloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilson Vianna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benê Araújo having to make a save. Mathias Chaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benê Araújo having to interfere. After the first half Luzitana AD were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matías Ortiz to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th match minute, jujulinda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the jujulinda defense, Wilson Vianna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benê Araújo. The jujulinda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benê Araújo should have stopped the shot. Benê Araújo was a little too slow when Mathias Chaves got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 0-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Luzitana AD's Mathias Chaves slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benê Araújo. That made the score 0-4 after 71 minutes of play. When Zézinho Sarmento fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored jujulinda's protests and gave Zézinho Sarmento a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mathias Chaves got free with Benê Araújo in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 83 minutes into the match, jujulinda's goal looked a bit too open when Mathias Chaves came free, but Benê Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in jujulinda's zone, Mathias Chaves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benê Araújo came out of the goal and Mathias Chaves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Wilson Vianna came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Luzitana AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilson Vianna couldn't finish the play. Mathias Chaves struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Benê Araújo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luzitana AD. 98 minutes in the game, Mathias Chaves fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Benê Araújo having to interfere. Luzitana AD played a much better game than jujulinda and deserved their victory. The jujulinda players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
