Gerson Lopez started the match with the kick off. Kléberson Terra charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kléberson Terra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Oscar Galvão kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, João Cardozo made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Machado. Jejui AD - U23's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Carlos Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Lago in the 16th minute of play. Gláuber Vargas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomé Messias having to interfere. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Piranguassu! Ediberto Amaral shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Miguel Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Machado having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Jefferson Cruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléberson Terra in the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Kléberson Terra made the kick off in the second half. Gláuber Vargas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomé Messias having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Jejui AD - U23's zone, Kléberson Terra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Machado came out of the goal and Kléberson Terra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miguel Lago got free with Carlos Machado in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 63 played minutes Jejui AD - U23 got a freekick which was hit by Reinaldo de Almeida. 65 minutes into the match, Kléberson Terra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carlos Machado. Jejui AD - U23's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kléberson Terra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 68 minutes in the game, Kléberson Terra fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Carlos Machado having to interfere. Kléberson Terra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Machado having to interfere. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Miguel Lago sped through Jejui AD - U23's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carlos Machado. Carlos Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kléberson Terra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 87 minutes, Gláuber Vargas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jejui AD - U23's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gláuber Vargas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomé Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerson Lopez in the 89th minute of play. If Kléberson Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 94 minutes, Kléberson Terra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piranguassu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kléberson Terra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Piranguassu could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Jejui AD - U23 throughout the match.
