After a rather tough play, Caracituba's Guto Tasso got a free kick in the 35th minute. Wanderson Neto's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nilton Brodel firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Caracituba booed when Camalau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdo Nóbrega didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camalau's Nilton Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Vander in the 62nd minute of play. Nilton Brodel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wanderson Neto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nilton Brodel came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Caracituba's Richard Vander. But to his dismay, Richard Vander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 69th minute, José Augusto Urbano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute Camalau were awarded a corner. Claudinei Paulista went to the cornerflag to take it. Camalau's Claudinei Paulista was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Glauco Cerezo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Wanderson Neto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute Richard Vander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilton Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
