The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Conrado do Vale was the one to do the kick off. In the 72nd minute Joaquim Corrêa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evandro Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel dos Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Cristiano Saldanha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Maracuja getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Leonel do Nascimento hit a great ball. 1-2 came in the 82nd minute when Joaquim Corrêa all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Evandro Montenegro. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Conrado do Vale in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristiano Saldanha saved Apora from getting behind. Eliézer Andrade's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Evandro Montenegro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. After 96 minutes, José Toscano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maracuja and the Apora players grew even worse after the yellow card. José Toscano kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Maracuja fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 99th minute. Penalty! Joaquim Corrêa placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out!
