Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Maurício Rodrigues took the kick off in the first half of the match. Capanema SS's Jonathan Massa got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Pitangui SS's zone, Jonathan Massa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeferson das Neves came out of the goal and Jonathan Massa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeferson das Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gláuber Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 27 minutes, Gláuber Perez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Capanema SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gláuber Perez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pitangui SS's goalkeeper Jeferson das Neves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Gláuber Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute Raimundo Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeferson das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the game, Afonsinho Prata was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Capanema SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pitangui SS the free kick. Afonsinho Prata hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. If Maurício Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 45 in the game by Vito Azevedo from a close distance when the talented Dadá Barbosa managed to make a qualified save. Capanema SS's players were relieved. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

60 minutes into the game, Vito Azevedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Dadá Barbosa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pitangui SS's Jeferson das Neves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Pitangui SS from getting a goal against them. In the 65th minute Maurício Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dadá Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Vito Azevedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Dadá Barbosa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Massa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Jeferson das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Pitangui SS's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Massa came free, but Jeferson das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Massa succeeded in the game's 76th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruninho Prado during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bruninho Prado hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Dadá Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurício Rodrigues in the 91st minute of play. Gláuber Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeferson das Neves having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Capanema SS players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pitangui SS.
