Cauã Pombal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mandiroba. After 12 minutes, Ulf Hård mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mandiroba and the Promissao players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th match minute, Mandiroba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulf Hård to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Mandiroba's Kauã Veloso got a free kick in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute, Eliseu Leal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Promissao fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Eliseu Leal succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 21st playminute. Eliseu Leal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo de Toledo having to interfere. Gustavo de Toledo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eliseu Leal in the 27th minute. Mandiroba's Reinhard Isele got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cauã Pombal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reinhard Isele went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Reinhard Isele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valério Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Eriberto de Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Gustavo de Toledo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Promissao's Cauã Pombal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinhard Isele in the 62nd minute of play. After 63 played minutes Mandiroba got a freekick which was hit by Renatinho Vale. Adrianinho Pena hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Gustavo de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Leal in the 68th minute of the match. Gustavo de Toledo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseu Leal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78th minute, Eriberto de Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute Eliseu Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Reinhard Isele managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mandiroba's supporters rose to their feet, but Reinhard Isele was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cauã Pombal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Mandiroba defense, Eliseu Leal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustavo de Toledo. The Mandiroba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustavo de Toledo should have stopped the shot. Gustavo de Toledo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Leal in the 97th minute of the match.
