The tension between the parnahyba and the Piassava SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nildo de Queiroz hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Piassava SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nildo de Queiroz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. After 73 played minutes parnahyba got a freekick which was hit by Nildo de Queiroz. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Cardozo in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Augusto Simão saved parnahyba from getting behind. A collision led to parnahyba getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Mateus Proença hit a great ball. If Valdomiro do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nildo de Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Carlos Augusto Simão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Cardozo in the 88th minute of play. Victor Cardozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Augusto Simão having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valdomiro do Vale got free with Carlos Augusto Simão in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Piassava SC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than parnahyba throughout the match.
